Abbate, Gianna (Ensemble) Gianna is a rising 7th grader at St. Thomas More. Before she found an interest in acting, she danced for 3 years which led to a love of musical theater. Her first role was in a musical production of Mary Poppins, and her most recent role was playing the part of Florinda in Into The Woods at STM. Gianna is so excited to be in her first Holy Cross Theater Ministry production. She would like to thank the director and staff, and her family for their love and support.
Abowd, Mary Catherine (Production Assistant, Choreographer, Music Director) Mary Catherine is entering her third year at Northeastern University as a Health Science major on the pre-physical therapy track. She has appeared on the Holy Cross stage in The Sound of Music, The Music Man, Big the Musical, The Little Mermaid, Footloose, Thoroughly Modern Millie, and The Addams Family. MC is so happy to be back for her second year on production staff and is eternally grateful to everyone at Holy Cross for encouraging her love of theatre!
Ahmed, Hanna (Crew) Hanna is a rising 8th grader from Potomac, Maryland. She is new to theater. She is visiting Atlanta for two weeks where she spent her elementary years attending Evansdale Elementary School. She would like to thank her family and friends (especially Elza) for their support.
Belden, Neal (Production Assistant, Choreographer, Music Director) Neal is so excited to be helping with this year's production of Footloose. He grew up participating in these camps and is so happy to be back on the production side. He is eternally grateful to Jim, Matt, Katrina, Jami, and Mary Catherine for making this such an enjoyable experience. He would also like to thank Addie, his mom, his friends, and Donna Sue.
Brownlow, Libbie (Cop) Libbie is a rising senior at St Pius X High School. This is her first year with Holy Cross, and she’s been doing theater for 6 years. Libbie has enjoyed many ensemble roles with Pius theater, a personal favorite being Jessica Cranshaw in Curtains. She would like to shout out her family for always supporting her and she wants to tell her dad she’s sorry she scuffed that car.
Brownlow, Mollie (Betty Blast) Mollie is a rising freshman at St. Pius X and a first year camper at Holy Cross. She has been acting for two years beginning her career in the cast of Legally Blonde Jr. as the Cop and Jet Blue Pilot. Mollie also played Jack’s Mom in the musical Into the Woods Jr. She is thrilled to have been blessed with the opportunity to play the role of Betty Blast in Footloose. She would like to thank her parents for helping and encouraging her in her journey to learn to sing, act, dance, and roller skate! She would also like her fellow cast and crew members for welcoming her into this amazing community and making the whole show experience the most fun ever. Lastly, Mollie would like to thank the Holy Cross Theater staff, for putting on this great show and making her first year at Holy Cross the most fun and enjoyable camp of the summer! She is so excited for many years to come.
Bryant, Brooke (Tracy) Brooke is a rising sophomore at Chamblee High School and loves to pursue the arts. She has been in many productions with schools, camps, etc. Such as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Grandma Joe), That’s so Fetch (Regina), My Own Invention (Bobby), Beauty and the Beast as (bimbette), Chicago (featured dancer), and now Footloose as Tracy! This has truly been a roller coaster for her and she can’t wait to keep pursuing the arts in the future as well.
Buresh, Audrey (Bambi) Audrey ('27) is thrilled to be a part of her first production with Holy Cross. She was previously in her school production at Midtown International School. In her free time, Audrey enjoys playing piano and long-distance running. She would like to thank her cast mates, her family, and everyone involved in making this production come to life.
Cassidy, Mackenzie (Ariel Moore) Mackenzie just graduated from Chamblee High School. While she’s sad she didn’t get to debut as Chicago friend #3 in 2020, she is so excited to play Ariel in her second show at Holy Cross! Her previous credits include Hairspray Jr. (Ensemble), Legally Blonde Jr. (Ensemble), and Once Upon a Mattress (Lady Larken). She will be attending LSU in the fall to major in marketing. She would like to thank her dad for always (begrudgingly) picking her up from late night rehearsals and Matt for being her director since day one. She hopes you enjoy the show and would like to remind her family to close their eyes during “The Girl Gets Around” :)
Cochran, Helen (Gabby) Helen is a rising 9th grader at Chamblee High School. She has been in past productions such as Addams Family, Once Upon a Mattress, High School Musical, and Beauty and the Beast. Outside of school, Helen is co-captain of her school's JV cheer team and dances at Balance dance. This is her second summer doing camp with Holy Cross and hopes to continue doing so!
Cronan, Marley (Cowgirl Bonnie’s Band) Marley is a rising 9th grader at Chamblee High School. She has done previous musicals such as The Little Mermaid (Adella), Willy Wonka (Violet), High School Musical (Ms. Darbus), Beauty and The Beast (Madame de la Grande Bouche), Once Upon a Mattress (Minstrel), and The Addams Family (Wednesday). In her free time Marley enjoys playing basketball, playing piano, baking, and singing. She would like to thank her family and friends for always supporting and guiding her on her journey. Cronan, Emmy (Ensemble) Emmy is a rising seventh grade student at Chamblee Middle School. Some of her favorite things to do are cheer, theater, and singing. Over the years she has been in four musicals: The Lion King (Timon), Willy Wonka (Michael TV), Matilda (Matilda), and The Addams Family (Ensemble). She is very excited to participate in this year's summer musical. The support of her friends and family have encouraged her to pursue theater and acting. Emmy is very happy to have the environment that she is in, so she can have help to succeed in her career. LET THE SHOW BEGIN!!!!!
Dalbec, Henry (Crew) Henry is a rising 7th grader and is excited to be joining this crew for his second show with Holy Cross.
Esposito, Sophia (Ensemble) Sophia is a rising eighth-grader at Chamblee Middle School and is excited to take part in Footloose, The Musical, her first year at Holy Cross. Sophia has a passion for all things music and the arts. Her previous performances include Addams Family Jr., Beauty and the Beast Jr., Willy Wonka Jr., and The Little Mermaid Jr. Sophia thanks her family and friends for their support and hopes you enjoy the show!
George, Dino (Chuck Cranston) Dino is a parishioner at Holy Cross and a rising senior at St. Pius High School, where he is a broadcast announcer for the Golden Lion Sports Network. He is also a Lion Leader, runs track & field, and is in NHS and Mu Alpha Theta. Dino has performed in multiple Holy Cross Theatre Ministry camp performances including, Once Upon a Mattress, Be Our Guest a Broadway Revue, and The Addams Family. He has also played Flounder in the Holy Cross Theatre Ministry production of The Little Mermaid as well as participated in performances in middle and elementary school including James & the Giant Peach, Willy Wonka, and Beauty & the Beast. Dino is happy to be a part of this summer's performance and thanks the cast and crew for all their hard work and his family for all their support.
George, Gia (Crew) Gia is a parishioner at Holy Cross and a rising freshman at St. Pius High School. She is a cheerleader for St. Pius football and plays lacrosse. You may remember seeing her artistic work and set design in previous performances of Holy Cross Theater camp's Once Upon a Mattress and Be Our Guest, Broadway Revue. She was also a tap dancing seagull in the Holy Cross production of The Little Mermaid. Gia is excited to share her art skills to help this year's production and thanks the cast and crew for all their hard work, and thanks her family for their support.
Gerstle, Ian (Cowboy Bob) Ian is going to 8th grade at Chamblee Middle School and is very excited to once again be a part of Holy Cross Theater as Cowboy Bob in Footloose, The Musical. He has appeared in Beauty and the Beast as the footstool, Alice in Wonderland as the Dodo bird and the King of hearts, Once Upon a Mattress as a knight and, most recently, Adams Family as Pugsley. Ian is also an accomplished competitive gymnast as well as a drummer and percussionist in the Chamblee Middle School Band. He is so thankful for his family and friends for supporting him throughout his entire musical career.
Gerstle, Aaron (Willard Hewitt) Aaron is a rising senior who is very excited to once again be a part of Holy Cross Theatre Ministry. He has appeared in Newsies as Les, Fiddler on the Roof as Fyedka, Chicago as The Judge, Be Our Guest as Lumiere and Schroeder, and Once Upon a Mattress as a knight. He is so thankful for his family and friends for supporting him throughout his entire musical career.
Gordon, Delaney (Wendy Jo) Delaney is a rising 10th grader at Chamblee High School. Delaney's past shows include Jenny Lind in The Greatest Showman, a cheerleader in High School Musical, and Lumiere in Beauty and the Beast. She has been doing ballet and theater for 8 years. Delaney would like to thank Mom, Dad, Bryce, Grandma, everybody at camp, Mr. Thornton and the production staff, and her amazing dogs, Dewey and Bagel.
Grove, Olivia (Rusty) Olivia just graduated from Chamblee High School and is excited to reprise her role as Rusty 4 years later! You might remember her from past Holy Cross productions as Princess Winnifred in Once Upon a Mattress and Grandma Addams in The Addams Family. Other fav credits include Velma Kelly in Chicago and Hodel/Fruma Sarah in Fiddler on the Roof. She’s a Shuler nominee and alum of the CSTC Pre-Pro program. She’s attending UGA in the fall to major in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Go Dawgs!) She thanks her friends, fam, and Holy Cross fam for their love and support, and Charli XCX for making it a brat summer.
Grove, Sydney (Stage Manager) Sydney is feeling bittersweet about this being her last camp show! She got her start in technical theater at Holy Cross in 2018 with Guys and Dolls. Since then, she's stage managed for 8 shows and independently directed Chamblee High School's production of Chicago this past school year. This fall, she'll attend the University of Georgia to study journalism and text Matt when the Dawgs beat Tennessee again this season. Big thanks to Mom, Dad, and her Shuler-nominated twin sister and best friend Olivia Grove.
Hart, Caroline (Eleanor Dunbar) Caroline is in 10th grade at Capstone Academy. She has been in theatre since she did Mary Poppins in 3rd grade and is so excited to be in Footloose this year! She wants to thank her family for being so supportive, and all her friends who came to see the show and cheer her on!
Hicks, Addison (Vi Moore) This is Addison’s first show with Holy Cross Theater Ministry and she is so excited to be playing Vi. She has previously played many ensemble roles at St. Pius. She would like to give a big shout out to her family for always supporting her. She will be attending Samford University in the fall and majoring in psychology. She plans to do theater at Samford.
Hoback, Reagan (Ethel McCormack) Reagan is a rising freshman at University of Tennessee at Chattanooga majoring in psychology. This is her first show with Holy Cross and she is super excited to work with such awesome people! She has been doing theater for 12 years and it’s her favorite thing to do. Outside of the stage, you can find her writing, drawing, or listening to music. Some of Reagan’s favorite roles include The Little Mermaid (Scuttle), A Voice in the Dark: A Salem Story (Rebecca Nurse), Our Town (Simon Stimson), and A Christmas Carol (Tiny Tim). She really appreciates her family and friends for always coming to see all the shows she’s been in!
Johnson, Tiller (Urleen) Tiller graduated from Chamblee High School this spring and is beyond excited to FINALLY be performing in Footloose! Some of her past credits include Chicago (Roxie), Once Upon a Mattress (Queen Aggravain), Fiddler on the Roof (Tzeitel), Newsies, The Addams Family, and Guys and Dolls! She will be attending the University of Georgia this fall majoring in Cellular Biology. She would like to thank her family for always being so supportive of her, and her friends for making this camp the best two weeks of her summer every year. She is so grateful to have had the experience to perform her first and last ever shows with Holy Cross!
Jones, Sean (Ren McCormack) Sean is a rising senior at Brookwood High School and is so excited to participate in his 4th camp show! Some of his favorite shows he’s done at Holy Cross include Once Upon a Mattress (Prince Dauntless), The Addams Family (Pugsley), and Shrek the Musical (Grumpy the Dwarf). Sean is also a part of the Musical Theater Department at Brookwood where he played Edgar Allan Poe in Nevermore. He would like to thank Matt, Jami, Katrina, Mary Catherine, and Neal for all of their help with this amazing show as well as his family for all of their support.

Lamberson, Gabriela Elisa (Ensemble) Gabriela Elisa is a rising 9th grader at Marist High School. She has been in many shows, but her most recent role that she played was Louisa in The Sound of Music. She is a dog lover and a dancer. She is very excited for this upcoming year! I want to thank forever my parents, my grandparents, my dog lola, and everyone that has supported me. Thank you!
Lewis, Sydney (Crew) Sydney is excited to be back for her final year of camp! She’s been in the cast at camp in the past but is now showing her true creative talent as a techie. She’s a rising freshman at the University of Georgia where she’ll study biology. HUGE thank you to Sean Jones for being MASSIVELY supportive of her endeavors, as well as Mackenzie Cassidy for being a baddie. She would not like to thank Keirsten. She also feels extremely sorry for Olivia Grove who has to room with her next semester.
Makarewicz, Lola (Coach Roger Dunbar) This is Lola’s first year at Holy Cross Theatre camp. She is going into 10th grade at Capstone Academy. She is very excited to be playing Coach Dunbar in this production of Footloose. Lola would like to shout out her parents for letting her do this camp, her friends for coming to watch, and the staff running the Footloose camp for helping put together such a great show.
Marlar, Dylan (Wes Warnicker) Dylan is a rising sophomore at St. Pius X High School. This is his 2nd year with Holy Cross. He is relatively new to theatre with only one year of experience. He has enjoyed how theatre constantly pushes him out of his comfort zone and challenges him. Dylan always loves jokes and making others laugh. He’d like to thank his family and his teachers from IHM who helped him take this leap of faith into theatre. As well as the support from St. Pius to make him as comfortable as possible.
McMillan, Sydney (Principal Harriet Clark) Sydney is a rising sophomore at Chamblee High School. She is ecstatic to be in this year’s production of Footloose, the Musical. She also plays volleyball and is in Chamblee’s Interact club. She was in the Chamblee Middle School production of Beauty & the Beast.
Myers, Ashley (Cowgirl Bonnie’s Band) Ashley is a rising freshman on her way to Chamblee High School this fall. She is very passionate about musical theater and has enjoyed being a part of the Holy Cross production this year. Most of her training has been at Orbit Arts Academy where she has been since 2018. Her favorite shows include Zombie Prom, Mean Girls, The Prom, and Trolls. She also enjoyed being a part of Beauty & the Beast and High School Musical at Chamblee Middle School.
Poff, Katrina (Assistant Director) Katrina is excited for her fourth show as Assistant Director at Holy Cross. Past stage credits include White Christmas (Betty Haynes), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Narrator), Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (Christine Colgate), Shrek, The Musical (Dragon), Honeymoon in Vegas (Mahi), and The Little Mermaid (Aquata). Katrina teaches middle school math at IHM, produces the IHM middle school dinner theater, sings with the Holy Cross Crossfire choir, and is mom to seven year old, Landon. She would like to thank her husband, Bobby, for always being so supportive and the amazing production team for making this such a fun experience.
Powell, Davis (Crew) Davis brings his prior crew experience from his first play The Addams Family at Chamblee Middle School, to Holy Cross Youth Drama Camp. In his second play, Davis is excited to apply his joy of working as crew. Davis enjoys learning about aviation, playing cello, and video games. He hopes you enjoy the production and thanks his family for their support.
Pyron, Ava (Ensemble) Ava is a rising sophomore at Chamblee High. This is her first time being cast in a musical, but she’s done tech for Chamblee High School’s Chicago. She’s had a lot of fun performing in this production and she is sure to do it again. She would like to shout out her mom and dad for letting her do this camp and cheering her on. She also wants to shout out any of her friends who came to watch the production to support her!
Redick, Ava (Donna Sue) Ava is so excited to perform as Donna Sue in this year’s opening of Footloose. She will be going into her junior year at CHS and is performing her 2nd Holy Cross show! You may have seen her in Fiddler on the Roof (Chava), Chicago (Annie/six), Once Upon a Mattress (Lady Rowena), or 42nd Street (Money girl). She wants to thank her family and friends for the endless support, and she can’t wait to show the world what Donna Sue has to offer!!
Rene, Elza (Ensemble) Elza is a rising 8th grader at St. Thomas More Catholic School. This is her first year at Holy Cross Theater Camp. She has been involved in theater for two years and has enjoyed being the Narrator in Into the Woods at her school. Elza also plays volleyball and swims. She is grateful to her parents and cat, Pumpkin George for their love and supporting her in everything she does. She also wants to thank her castmates, the staff and her friends (especially Hanna) for their support and making camp so much fun. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Shoemaker, Lucy (Cowgirl Bonnie’s Band) Lucy is a rising eighth grader at Chamblee Middle School. She has enjoyed stage experiences since she was very young. Her prior theatrical experiences include Cinderella Jr., The Little Mermaid Jr., The Lion King, and The Addams Family. Additionally, she performed with a dance group for six years. Outside of theatre Lucy enjoys crafts, reading, and spending time with her friends. She is very excited to be a part of Footloose.
Sloan, Luke (Reverend Shaw Moore) Luke just graduated from Chamblee High School, and is headed to KSU in the fall! This is his second performance with Holy Cross Theatre Ministry, after being part of the ensemble in The Addams Family back in 2019. You might also remember him from Chamblee Middle's, Legally Blonde, Jr as Warner Huntington III. Luke is so excited to be part of his last musical before heading to college, and would like to thank Matt Thornton for letting him have a second chance at this role, since Chamblee Middle School's performance of this same musical in 2020 was canceled due to Covid-19.
Snyder, Addison (Jenny) Addison is very excited to perform in this year's show! She’s been involved in Holy Cross theatre since 2018 and has the best time putting on a show with her friends! Addison is also currently enrolled at School of the Arts at Central Gwinnett High School and is going into her senior year. She would like to thank her family and friends for the constant support and hopes you enjoy the show!
Sokol, Sela (Lulu Warnicker) Sela is thrilled to be a part of the amazing cast of Footloose. Her past credits include Chicago with Chamblee Onstage and Newsies with Forefront Arts. She's grateful for all the support from her friends and family and cannot wait to perform in this production. Hi mom!
Thornton, Matthew (Director, Choreographer) Matt is very excited to be back at Holy Cross for the twelfth annual youth drama camp! He is a 6th Grade Social Studies teacher at Chamblee Middle School where he also runs the school Drama Program, Chamblee Spotlight. Some of his past stage credits include Oklahoma! (Curly), Forever Plaid (Frankie), The Sound of Music (Rolf), Les Misérables (Marius), Annie (Rooster), The Music Man (Marcellus/Choreographer), Bye-Bye, Birdie (Hugo), Footloose! (Ren/Choreographer), Shrek: The Musical (Donkey/Choreographer), You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Schroeder), The Little Mermaid (Sebastian/Assistant Director), Beauty and the Beast (Lumiere), Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (Freddy), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Pharoah/Gad/Assistant Director/Choreographer), and White Christmas (Phil/Director/Choreographer). He also directs and choreographs shows for the Holy Cross Youth Drama Camp and Chamblee Middle School, including High School Musical, Beauty and the Beast, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Guys and Dolls, Hairspray, Legally Blonde, The Addams Family, and Once Upon a Mattress. He would like to thank his friends and family for their undying love and support, his sister Kaitlyn who is his inspiration to perform, and his incredible, beautiful wife Sarah who is his rock and love of his life. 6.8.24.
Vogel, Maya (Lyla) Maya is a rising sophomore at Chamblee High School and is so excited to be a part of this summer’s production of Footloose! She has been in past productions such as a featured dancer in Chicago, Regina in Mean Girls, and a silly girl, wolf, and napkin in Beauty and the Beast! She loves theater and can’t wait to keep pursuing it!
Warren, Jami Terracino (Assistant Director) This is Jami’s fourth theater camp at Holy Cross as assistant/technical director. Past stage credits include Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Aphlaleth), Beauty & the Beast (Belle), Sugar (Dolores), Guys and Dolls (Hot Box Girl), Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Ms. Beauregard), MacBeth (Lady MacBeth), and Chicago (Velma). Jami has been interim director ('23-'24) and assistant director at St. Pius X ('16- '20). Beginning in August, she will start her new role as Theatre Director and Teacher at St. Pius X. She would like to thank Jim, Matt, Katrina, Neal, and Mary Catherine for another great year of summer camp! A special thanks to her husband William for his constant love and support in all things and a shout out to 3-month-old Gwendolyn Reese who brings joy to life every day. Enjoy the show!
Weaver, Hadley (Cowgirl Bonnie) Hadley is a rising 9th grader at Chamblee High School. She has been in six past musical productions including Beauty and the Beast, Jr. (Silly Girl), Once Upon a Mattress (Lady Merril), Addams Family (Alice) and many more! Finally, she would like to thank her family and her friends for cheering her on and for their constant support!
Weil, Eva (Crew) Eva is a rising sophomore at Capstone Academy. Her visual arts background includes previous work in Scenic Design in St Thomas More's Sound of Music production. She loves animals, Dr Pepper, singing in her church youth choir as well as hanging out with friends.
Wiegand, Julie (Ensemble) Julie is a rising 7th grader at Tapestry Public Charter School. This is her first drama camp, but she has been on stage for several years. She was a flower and fish in The Little Mermaid at Holy Cross and participated in The Snow White Variety Show and Wooing Wed Widing Hood at Livsey Elementary. She's been dancing since she was five with EIM Dance and Decatur School of Ballet. Julie is a CHOA AFLAC Cancer and Blood Disorders brain tumor patient, and music and dance have been therapies for her as she’s worked through the side effects of the tumor and related treatments. She also enjoys animals, art, running, and swimming.
Wilson, Nora (Ensemble) Nora is a rising freshman at St. Pius and is so excited to be participating in her third show here at Holy Cross. She has loved being on stage since she was seven! Her past productions include Mary Poppins, Beauty and the Beast, The Sound of Music (Brigitta), both the prelude and full show of Into the Woods (the Witch), as well as the musical revue here in Holy Cross in 2022 and Once Upon a Mattress in 2023! She would like to thank her parents for always supporting her in her theater endeavors, her sister for always encouraging her (and for being the best sister EVER!), her grandparents for listening to her yap constantly about whatever show she's doing (among many other things), the directors/staff for making this show come to life, and her camp friends for making the experience ever more enjoyable!
